NYC Resistor has become a node for yet another mesh network, but this one uses postcards! Akin to the CCC’s Chaos Post, this one is similar to that, but forever instead of just during CCC events.
From Hacker Post:
We route the packets. We host the mesh, run the radios, and keep the servers limping along at 3am. We have rebuilt every layer of the stack ourselves, for fun and occasionally out of spite. Every layer except one: physically moving a thing from a person to a person. That part still belongs to logistics giants and a postal monopoly or two. Hacker Post is a decentralized, run-by-whoever crack at it anyway.
If you feel compelled, you may add your own postcards to send out at our NYC Resistor mailbox, or ferry them closer to their destination, along the rules specified in the protocol spec.
