Sewing machine operation for absolute beginners!
You too can sew a very cute stuffed fish, even if:
- even if you can’t sew a straight line to save your life
- even if you can’t thread your machine
- even if you’ve never touched a sewing machine ever!
In this class we’ll learn:
- how to thread the machine to prevent snags and thread nests
- how to sew straight lines
- how to read a pattern
- how to sew curved seams so they lay flat
- how to interline fabrics
- how to install eyeballs on your new fishy friend

- what if i’ve never even seen a sewing machine? guess what you’ll get to see five of them in this class
- what if I want to bring my own machine that I bought ages ago and never figured out how to use? oh yes please do! don’t forget the power cord.
- why are we making fish? something something give someone a fish something something teach someone to fish etc etc.
